I am Hilary McDermott, owner of At Your Virtual Service, which since 1999 has been offering top quality administrative and secretarial support to freelancers and small business as well as larger organisations.

My skills have been acquired during more than twenty years of working with a wide cross section of professional business people in a range of industries from manufacturing, construction and publishing to legal, theatrical and IT – so I am confident when dealing with personnel at all levels.

I offer reliability, flexibility and total commitment. This has meant that my roles have consistently expanded and the diversity of my past work has covered everything from answering the telephone and stock taking to invoicing for more than £1m of company revenue and the responsibility of introducing new, more efficient ways of working.

Creative input, when it’s asked for, is all part of the service as is a fast, efficient turnaround, respect for client confidentiality, sensitivity to your clients’ needs and a keen awareness of deadlines.
